About this video

The film ‘plume of light’ is loosely inspired by the experience of a Kundalini awakening, where energy rises through the body, from the base of the spine to the top of the crown, up to the universe and spirit. We used the five elements (Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Spirit) to take the audience on an emotional and spiritual journey from the depth of the earth through an inner journey towards light. This allowed Plume to experiment with many different elements and looks, and showcase how we could combine strong animation within a world of realism and design. Finding beauty in every element through an inner visual journey.
