About this video
The work "The Sound of Wind and Cranes" is an expression of inner turmoil and external chaos. In this piece, I portray myself as a soul swaying in the wind, my body wrapped in tattered cloth as if bound by the shackles of the past. A fan in my hand partially covers my face—not only a camouflage for the outside world but also a barrier for my inner self. My legs gradually transform into withered branches, symbolizing the passing of life and the inescapable exhaustion of existence. The wind whispers in my ears, carrying echoes of wartime turmoil, and my soul struggles within this intangible current. I attempt to resist the outside forces, yet I also feel the inevitability of fate. In this silent space, I wander—both a drifting spirit in the wind and a lone wanderer listening to its cries.
