About this video

This is a small, playful piece to honour the unofficial sound of Greek holidays: cicadas. The video captures the feeling when vacation is right around the corner and you cannot wait to leave the office and chill on a beach while cicadas play their endless song. We illustrated the buzzing chaos we’re all trying to escape, animated it with love, frame by frame, and gave it voice with an original track and custom sound design that smells like summer. A sun-soaked ode to that moment when your mind leaves before you do.
