About this video

What started as a few R&D shots naturally grew into a personal short film about creative flow and self-discovery in the digital age. While working on this project, I paused many times to question myself and my life, which urged me to look deeper into my soul. I've always been fascinated by nature's balance and cycles; it's a constant flow, always present in life. Creativity is something humans learn through evolution; we inherit nature's cycle not only physically but also spiritually. The process of self-reflection is not pleasant; in fact, it can be quite painful. I want to use contrasting yet harmoniously blended images to express my desire for balance, both in the external world and within. From there, we can better understand our own journey. SELF-REFLECTION Using a raw stone to symbolize a rustic soul and cool water as a mirror, the idea starts when that raw stone touches its reflection beneath the water. Ideas don't appear out of nowhere; they stem from how we perceive and engage with the world around us. When the inner realm merges with the real world, creative seeds are awakened, triggering a chain reaction where our personal experiences act as catalysts. LOST IN THE WORLD OF POSSIBILITIES The biggest struggle of an artist in this digital world: The overload of information and inspiration. When ideas emerge too rapidly, they can become overwhelming, turning into a continuous stream. In this fast-paced environment, it’s difficult not to be influenced by the external world-the abundant inspiration, numerous references, emerging technologies, or the AI boom. This overload disrupts our inner flow, making it chaotic and hard to control. We become lost among countless options and paths. How can we tackle this chaos? The key is to stop looking outside and turn inward, focusing on our own inner world. FOCUS AND ORDER The best way to avoid being affected by external chaos is to ask ourselves: • “What fits my vision and mindset?” • “Why am I initially drawn to this idea? Did I see myself in it?” • “Is this idea from me, or from someone else?” Regardless of the tool, technique, or presentation, the idea that can lead us further must come from within us. When you begin to refine and arrange those disparate pieces into their proper places, order will be established, and the overall picture will naturally become clear. This is the journey of self-discovery in creativity and of separating oneself from external chaos. THE LOOP OF CREATIVITY No matter how polished a finished work is, the seeds of ideas still exist within it, waiting to be awakened in the mind of the viewer or within ourselves. Because ultimately, creativity is not a linear journey from beginning to end, but an endless loop. It is a never-ending flow, constantly circulating and relentlessly pushing us to find our true selves. So, don't be afraid to experiment with new things. Who knows, you might learn more about yourself after each such journey...
