Depth of Field, our sister company, revamped their branding. Their new look is raw, gritty, and intentionally digital: built on pixelated edges, deep, textured layers and a controlled color palette. Stark and unfiltered. To launch the revamp, we teamed up at Pool to develop an extension of the brand itself. Working entirely in-house, we took the brand book as a starting point, picking the static graphic elements and forced them into motion. We treated After Effects as our digital canvas, obsessing over the interplay, between typography, rhythmic composition, color, pace and impact. Every frame was crafted to mirror the DOF’s hot new DNA: reactive, sharp and unapologetically bold. The goal was simple: stop the scroll. By turning the identity into a living, breathing experience, we’ve moved past a simple logo reveal. And nailed the new tone for what DOF is now: full of personality, tactile, and ready for any digital space.
