OXO is a collaboration between musician and composer Janek Murd and TOLM's director Joosep Volk. OXO looks for a beacon in the desert, a beam of energy drilling a hole into the canvas, and a dot entering this realm from nothing. All dancing to the same beat. What fits between these two points? Do our memories matter once the beat stops luring? Nothingness multiplied by non-existence is... The story is based on a short text written back in 2020 to get started on the film. The storyboard was left to wait better times as work kept piling up. But one meeting with Janek gave it a new life...
